President and Managing Director
Mr. DeSimone is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years
of experience in business finance and management. Mr.
DeSimone has extensive experience in building and
managing entrepreneurial businesses. He has been
involved with dozens of successful early-stage
businesses either as a member of the management team, as
an investor or advisor. He has held executive and board
positions with several privately held technology firms.
He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of a number
of success business ventures and has been responsible
for the development, expansion and exit of a number of
business ventures.
Mr.
DeSimone is the founder and Managing Partner of
Roxiticus Ventures, LLC, a business management,
financial services and investment banking firm
specializing in early stage companies. He is a partner
in a number of early stage private equity and venture
capital funds including the Roxiticus Valley Life
Sciences Fund, LP, an investor in EKR. Mr. DeSimone has
advised and supported numerous start-ups including ESP
Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical firm founded by
Howard Weisman.
